Lines and Other Great Things

I am in a line kinda mood. Could you tell?

First, it was my Twitter background and then I had to change this site’s background. Lines just seem nice today for some reason.

Also, something about the previous background just wasn’t right. Know what I mean?

I am completely aware that I am the only person who is concerned with this.

One thing that I am really enjoying about Twitter is the plethora of interesting blogs that I would never have found had I not been on Twitter. [I’ve rewritten that sentence about five different ways. That’s the best I got.]

A lot of them are design blogs or web 2.0 blogs, but, some are really awesome run-of-the-mill “this is my life” type of stuff. I’ve been contemplating a post about new blogs that you are reading, but I think that I may have found a way to find new stuff.

That being said, if you have a blog that you read that you love, leave me a comment and I’ll check it out. I’m always looking for new stuff to read.

I’m wholeheartedly suffering from a case of second job blues.

Not my second job, obviously. Tucker’s second job.

It seems like he’s done nothing but work; I feel like a single mom. Tucker, when you read this, I’m not bitching about you working…wait, I guess I am. Hmm…how do I say this? It sucks that he works so fucking much. I understand why he’s doing it and I 100% appreciate him doing so. But, I’m still allowed to say that is sucks royally.

I have taken about two hours to write this rambling piece of shit.

A couple of times I had to stop and get Cara off of the coffee table. Once or twice I had to take the dogs out to pee. The point is that Tucker is home now and we have to go to Target to buy Oscar the Cat some kitty litter and pick us up something to eat.

I’m sure I had something worthwhile and insightful to write. [cough] For some reason I can’t remember what it was at this particular moment.

On an extremely random note, if you’re a closet video game designer, I have a link to a bad ass contest over on Ironic Gamer.

Check it out.
