I woke up this morning having had very little sleep last night and all I wanted to do was check my email while I nursed my coffee.
Bad idea; I should have just stayed in bed.
Paul Newman died of cancer which he had been battling for quite some time.
Paul Newman was my “other” and I first fell in love with him when I was 12 and saw Long Hot Summer for the first time.
Gawd, that man was sexy!
He founded Newman’s Own – which has the best dressing known to man – and was faithful to his wife, Joanne Woodward who he married in 1958.
Paul Newman seemed like a truly great guy and was an amazing actor. I know I’m not the only person he touched and I hope that his family is alright and that their mourning isn’t too painful.

What a great actor, and by all accounts a great man. His passing has left a HUGE void in my heart. I agree, I hope his family doesn’t suffer his loss too terribly… goodness knows, I’m gonna miss the hell out of him!
