Little Pink Bike

Even though it’s not even Halloween, I’m already thinking about Christmas.

This is the first Christmas that Cara’s going to remember.  I want it to be special.  I’ve found the tree that we’re going to get and I’m in the process of looking for a few special ornaments.

When we first moved back to Arkansas, Cara fell IN LOVE with the tricycle in the picture above.  She would scream bloody murder when we would leave the outdoor/bike shop.  Cara would hollar “ME!!!  MINE!!!” if any other child dared to come within ten feet of the bike.

We let her try out some other tricycles at Target and though she liked them, she didn’t have anywhere close to the reaction as she did to the Trek.  I wasn’t totally sold on the bike until Tucker told me that it has three “sizes” so it will “grow” with her as she gets older and once she’s outgrown the bike, we can take it back to the shop and get 1/2 off her “big girl” bike.

How cool is that?

There’s something about this little pink bike that Cara just can’t get enough of and I want her first bike to be special to her.  I know that we won’t be able to use it with Oliver [I guess we could but we won’t make the boy use a pink bike.] but is that necessariky a bad thing?  They should both have special bikes when the time comes

We’ll make Ollie wear Cara’s pink dresses to make up for the cost.

  1. Hehehe…. Well, if it comes to him wanting the bike you could let him spray paint it. I think he’d love the spray painting process. Who doesn’t love playing with spraypaint? And if you REALLY don’t, do it in a less ventilated area and by the time you’re done you’ll LOVE it. haha

    I kid I kid…

That is a cute trike! I love it.

  2. I just fell in love with this bike! Where do you get this little pink bike and what is the brand?

    • It’s a Trek. 🙂
We ended up not getting it since my dad got Cara something different but it would make me very happy if you guys got it.

  3. Thank you for letting me know! I’ll let you know what we end up doing.
