Hopefully it's just a bump in his long road of good sleeping habits. I would guess, like you said, that he's either cutting a tooth or his recent activity of pulling up and being much more active has interrupted his sleeping habits. Hang in there, girl! I know it's hard. My youngest was a rotten sleeper until he was 2 and I thought I'd never sleep again!

I had a similar situation with my two. Oldest never slept and the youngest slept so much I took him to the ped thinking something must be wrong. She told me I had gotten "one of the sleeping models this time around". I kept him in our room for the longest time, longer than I wanted because he suddenly got all fussy & didn't want to sleep & my oldest was just really starting to sleep long periods & I was afraid to put them in the same room. Then I decided what the heck, experiment for 3 days, its not like everyone isn't cranky anyway. First 2 nights went as I imagined. 3rd night everyone went right to sleep. The oldest slept for longer periods with deeper sleep, the younger one went back to sleeping for long periods. It was like they synced with each other. You might want to try it just to see what happens. I did get one of those crib tents to keep the oldest and his toys out though.
