So sorry to hear about Oscar. I’ve been keeping up on his progress the whole time. I had to put down my 13-year-old kitty, and it certainly wasn’t fun. I just told my kids the truth, but they were older, so they understood.

We talked about this being a possibility, but honestly, I was pretty shocked when you called. I have to say that this was probably the best solution. I just wish that he hadn’t suffered for that time before (but, you and I both know that “the college try” was warranted”).

I think you and Tucker did everything that you possibly could have, in this situation. You have no reason to feel guilty about your feelings. You made the correct decisions (in my opinion) at the right times.

He’s not suffering. That, my friend, is the most important thing.

awww I’m so sorry about Oscar. That must be so hard, I can’t imagine anything happening to my Bay. And I imagine it must be so much more worse having to explain to your kids what happened…
