You know at the end of the month, Tucker always goes to drill and this past weekend was one of those weekends. For the most part, the kids and I had an uneventful weekend that involved quite a few movies and several peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.
By Sunday, I needed something fresh and pizza is usually my go-to thing since it takes no time to make from scratch. So I made two different pizzas: a supreme style pizza with everything I wanted and then a pizza Cara requested – green beans, corn, sausage and cheese.
Don’t ask. I don’t know either.
Anyway, the only thing that’s easier than making pizza at home is either ordering from one of the big chains or buying a frozen pizza from the store. And I’m going to say right here that I have never met a frozen pizza I liked…until theFreschetta FlatBread pizza – we like the Zesty Italian best.
Freschetta sent me five or six coupons for free pizzas and when I first got them in, I had every intention of using one of the coupons and then giving the rest of them away. And then – because we’re gluttons – we’ve “run out” of coupons. So, yeah…sorry about that.
BUT, Freschetta does have a $1 off coupon on their site so you can get a break on the cost since they’re a bit on the expensive side. I guess if you compare them to a delivered pizza they aren’t that bad but we’re cheap.
