This is the story of a girl who thought she was unlovable – someone who was considered a “good for right now” kind of girl.
As luck would have it, the girl met a boy and her opinion of herself began to change.
No longer was she afraid she would never really be loved. Now, she was afraid of losing the love she had found…or maybe it had found her.
Finally, the boy and the girl were married and they moved to a faraway land where people didn’t know how to drive in the rain and oranges grew on trees in dog parks.
Time passed quickly for the boy and the girl and then there were three: the boy – now a man, the girl – now a woman – and a baby who seemed determined to take over the world.
The man, the woman and the baby moved again back to the land where the man and woman had met. A land where the ground is as flat as a cookie sheet and mosquitoes grow as big as pigeons.
The man, the woman and the baby – now a girl – became four with the addition of a baby who seemed determined to cuddle his way into every person’s heart he encountered.
After a time, the man, the woman, the girl and the baby – now a boy – traveled again to a new land where the ground rose and fell like a heartbeat and rocket ships bound for space were built.
The man, the woman, the girl and the boy aren’t sure what faraway land they’ll discover next but the woman – once a girl – considers herself lucky beyond measure the man – once a boy – had shown her she was worth loving and had chosen to continue loving her after six years of adventures.
