I’m All Sold Out

Hey! Haven't seen you here before. Welcome to Taste Like Crazy! You might want to subscribe to my RSS feed so you don't miss anything. Feel free to leave a comment, read through the archives, and enjoy yourself. Hope to see you again soon.

Smoking HarlotAm I a sellout or “money grubbing whore” because I run adds on my site?

WIkipedia defines sellout like this:

“Selling out refers to the compromising of one’s integrity, morality and principles in exchange for money, ’success’ or other personal gain. It is commonly associated with attempts to increase mass appeal or acceptability to mainstream society. A person who does this, as opposed to following the original path s/he laid (or claimed to lay) out for him/herself, is labeled a sellout and regarded with disgust and immediate loss of respect. Selling out is seen as gaining success at the cost of credibility.”

Lines and Other Great Things

I am in a line kinda mood. Could you tell?

First, it was my Twitter background and then I had to change this site’s background. Lines just seem nice today for some reason.

Also, something about the previous background just wasn’t right. Know what I mean?

I am completely aware that I am the only person who is concerned with this.

One thing that I am really enjoying about Twitter is the plethora of interesting blogs that I would never have found had I not been on Twitter. [I’ve rewritten that sentence about five different ways. That’s the best I got.]

Your Mom’s a Gamer

bitch.JPG

The stereotypical image that most people have of gamers is either a plump and pasty teenage boy surrounded by empty Mountain Dew cans or the image of a plump and pasty middle aged guy who lives with his mom. [I'm not talking about you of course]

Slowly, but surely, this stereotype is being turned on its head.

Not only are chicks now playing games at an increased rate, some of those chicks are Moms. [gasp!]

Heck, I’m one of them.

With the advent of the Wii and the industry’s increased focus on casual gaming, even the most “normal” mom can delve into the world of video games.
