Do you recognize these three?
They’ve invaded my TV this morning and they refuse to leave. Damn baby animals and their horrible singing.
Am I the only one who finds it odd that the duck’s name is Ming-Ming…which sounds Asian…and Asians eat duck.
OK…technically, I guess anyone can eat duck, but I had Fragrant Crispy Duck last night from our local Chinese restaurant and that’s why I made that little mental leap. So, cut me some freakin’ slack.
Do you think that the creators named the duck Ming-Ming as a joke?
Also, why does the duck have to have a lisp? Is it the lack of lips?
I understand that they’re just trying to make characters that real kids can identify with. “Ming-Ming has a lisp just like me!” That’s all well and good, but is it really necessary?
Why can’t the duck talk without a lisp and have a Nintendo DS or something. “Ming-Ming has a DS just like me!” I like that better.
Maybe the duck should just die…yep, definitely.

Tucker’s at work right now. He’s only there till 11 am, so it’s not that bad. Hell, three hours isn’t shit!
He would love is to work all day Saturday and Sunday and be done with it, but they have apparently cut hours since the back to school rush is over. So, he’s stuck with three hours here and four hours there.
Hopefully he’ll pick up some more hours here soon. I have to admit that it’s nice to have him home more than I had expected.

The apartment smells so good right now!
I’m cooking a chuck roast in the crock-pot and the whole place smells like meat. You know, now that I type that, it doesn’t read as well as it sounded in my head…you know what I’m talking about though.

We got a “new” grill this weekend.
New is in quotes since the grill is “new” to us. It’s in pretty rough shape, but it’s got good bones.
We have to take the wood off, strip it, sand it, stain it and seal it and then screw it all back on. We’re also going to paint the metal blue. Ever seen a blue grill? Me neither, but we’ll have one by the end of the month.
