Tucker got the job!
If you’ve been following along on Twitter then you know that Tucker had a five person conference call interview Tuesday. At the end of the interview, they told him that they liked him and that they would send his information to the “big guy” and that “the big guy” would make the final decision.
Today was the “big guy” call and not only does Tucker have the job, but the “big guy” offered Tucker 5k more than Tucker had asked for! How much does that rock?!
We’re waiting for a Letter of Intent from the company and we’re both nervous that they’re going to back out BUT once we have that letter, the job will officially be his.
In addition to a salary, Tucker also has the chance to get a performance based bonus. That’s where Tucker will really excel. He likes to work his ass off if there’s a payoff at the end.
SO, looks like we’re moving to Alabama!
To everyone out there who’s looking for a job right now, keep looking! Your job is out there. Between Tucker and myself, we’ve put in over 500 resumes. That’s right. 500. He’s been looking since December and now it’s finally paid off.
Cross your fingers that it all works out and that we find a cute house with a back yard so that I can toss the dog and Cara out there. 🙂
